Posted by Benjamin Coakley on Tue, Mar 04, 2014 @ 10:34 AM

community pharmacyThis past weekend was jam packed in Orlando. We learned many new things about community pharmacy and pharmacy owners. Below are the top three things we learned that can help you.

1. Innovation - this will drive the future of community pharmacy. Things are changing and we all need to be dynamic (rather than static) in order to change with it.  Also, did you know that David out innovated Goliath.  If you want to know how, please contact us for details.

2. What you do is what matters and show appreciation - action is the most important thing in pharmacy. One of Newton's laws of physics is a body in motion tends to stay in motion. Action can lead to positive momentum in life.  This is true in pharmacy as well.  Also, showing gratitude by saying "You're Welcome" or "My Pleasure," as opposed to "No Problem" can show your patients that you appreciate their business. If you want to know a couple of the other ways we learned to show appreciation to your patients, please contact us for details.

3. Sabotage is a real thing - people can sabotage themselves to prevent them from getting the results they want.  Learning to not do this involves a change in mindset and learning the warning signs that you are about to do this again.  If you want know a few tips that we learned on how to avoid sabotage, please contact us for details.

We are hear to serve community pharmacy owners.  Please let us know how we can help you with this information or if you want to know more of what we learned in Florida.  Also, if you are interested in attending the Pharmacy Growth Conference next year, please let us know and we will get you in touch with the right people.
