A WaypointRx Company
I hope you are having a great week so far. I was fortunate enough to attend the Mastering Pharmacy Ownership Workshop recently in Atlanta and hear some of the challenges faced by pharmacy owners each day.
You may have seen some information about this workshop, but I wanted to share a few surprising things that we learned. Through open conversation, we found that many pharmacy owners are beginning to share concerns about the financial health or well-being of their staff, and how productive they actually are as a result.
Here is a quote and two survey questions cited from a recent whitepaper by PwC (click the image to download).
“Our research is showing that that financial stressors are not only negatively impacting employees but are costing the employers. Stressed employees are found to be less productive, take more time off to deal with financial matters, are more likely to leave the company for higher compensation, and are more likely to cite health issues caused by financial stress. These findings evidence a direct correlation between an employee’s financial well-being and a company’s bottom line.” -PwC
